Some quickies... "Birdy the Mighty" edition...
The guy who created Birdy the Mighty has a website.And it appears that the story is back as a series at Young Sunday Comics. Which you can buy, if you can read Japanese, have 530 Yen per issue (which as of today is about $4.60 US), and can get it shipped to you.
He has posted some sketches of his work on Birdy.

Her breasts have gotten larger since her conception over 10 years ago. The foreshortening for the pose appears wrong though. Though it may be covered by the Cover Artistic License.
